Someone mentioned it in a thread, that their dealer was going to flash his/her MSP's ecu to a new prototype one, but I don't think anything came of it.

Absolutely - anything is possible. But would that work? -- no.

If I remember correctly whoever had the prototype said that they were already using the "1st prototype" and the dealer told them to come in for the "2nd version" of the prototype. I believe he also said that it seemed only marginally better than the original ECU -- not positive on that though
