Ok guys i need some help here, on the mazdaspeed protege theres a little elbow coming out of the airbox that says callaway on it, any idea where i can get this elbow?

no i have a mp3 so it has the gimpy huge ass intake piece coming out of the air box, so i want the calllaway piece.

damn you beat me to it mine fell off on my street the way i found out was that i was leaving and i ran oversomething in the road,, it was nighttime... and heard a loud crunch WTF? got out of my car and looked at the street for a split second the thought ran through my head" wow that looks like that air box piece" sho nuff

Wow, I can't believe it fell off. Mine seemed pretty solid when I pulled it out with 300 miles on it .. It is sitting in my closet, but I won't sell it.. Let me see if I can find the part # in my MSP parts book (suppliment for the regular Protege parts listing )...

Bam- 0000-88-C59.. I knew this book would come in handy .. It lists part numbers for all the MSP specific parts- turbo, heat shields, wheels, etc...

I am sure the dealer can get it, he just couldn't find the part number for it so he said it wasn't available. They aren't the brightest or most motivated people in the world ya know ..

my POS elbow fell off twice!!
it fell off once I got it replaced and then it fell off again the next day! >

Joe: Can you make Adobe pdf files of the MSP parts book? This would be a very handy thing to have. I'm sure about 50 people on this forum would want it.

If not, then can you tell us the manual number so we can order it, too?

I have no way to scan it in, I gave my scanner away a while ago ... The number on the back of the book is 9999-94-MSPL-03. It does not contain pricing, just part numbers. It will certainly help with getting parts since most parts guys are clueless and if it is not right in front of them or they have never seen it before, they say it doesn't exist...

is there a part in there for the radiator cap that says "mazdaspeed" on it? only ever seen it on the Japanese models. i think it would add a nice little touch to the underhood view

unwound, thanx but i was to slow... its gone. & nattyboy513, i checked out corksport.com and they said they were out and wouldnt be getting anymore until August. so i guess i will just have to wait. thanx for the help though!
