Mazdaspeed 3 motor + tranny swap in a P5

So I was wondering would it be possible to swap the tranny and motor in a 2002 P5 with a mazdaspeed 3 motor and tranny?

With enough time and money anything is possible. Short answer is no, as many other threads on here will tell you if you did even the most basic of searches.

if your going to go through all that trouble ditch the troublesom protege trans and stick the ms3 trans in as well!

one of these days some one has to do this and post how much it costs so i can make it a sticky, hopefully that will ward off all those who wonder haha.

as cool as it would be (I mean our cars look better) its too much trouble. if you go to car and driver, they swapped a speed3 engine into a mazda 5. the cars shared a lot of the same parts and it still gave them loads of trouble.

Might as well just stick with the FS motor and just turbo it or put in a MSP motor in or the JDM FS-ZE.

anythings possible if you got the time and money...but its not as easy like swapping honda motors. if it was that easy shoot i'd probably have a protege 6
