Mazdas247 Mobile App?

Does anybody know what happened to the Mazdas247 app? I had it on my ipod just recently, got an iPhone5s, searched through the App Store and it’s not there anymore?

If anybody knows anything, please inform me.

I updated my phone and somehow it got deleted, now I can't reload it. sucks too I can't upload pictures or change profile with the iPad or phone..Any update on when?

Sorry about that, our current app was taken down by Apple because it wasn't compatible with newer versions of iOS.

The good news is...We're on TapaTalk!

For now that is...We still plan on launching our own TapaTalk-based app soon...Enjoy!

Just a reminder that we have a web app available…It should be dismissible…Tap the x and it should disappear.

To update this old thread, we left Tapatalk years ago but we do now have a web app option which acts like an app without needing to download anything from an app store or install updates…It’s all automatic.

No problem! Yeah some of the terminology can be a bit confusing but not to worry...I've created a new guide which I will post below along with the link to the new thread/article...I hope it provides more clarity on how to install the app...It's actually a really simple process but again some of the steps can seem confusing...

For iPhone and iPad (Apple iOS)​

Note: You must use the Safari browser for this to work.

1. Open the Safari browser and go to Mazdas247.com.
2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (it looks like a square with an arrow pointing straight up).
3. Scroll down the list of options until you see Add to Home Screen and tap it.
4. Tap Add in the top-right corner.
5. Success! The Mazdas247 icon is now on your home screen just like a regular app.

For Android Phones and Tablets​

Note: We recommend using the Google Chrome browser.

1. Open the Chrome browser and go to Mazdas247.com.
2. You may see a banner at the bottom of the screen that says Add Mazdas247 to Home screen. If you see this, simply tap it!
3. If you do not see the banner, tap the Three Dots icon (Menu) in the top-right corner of your browser.
4. Tap Install app (or "Add to Home screen") from the menu.
5. Tap Install (or "Add") to confirm.
6. Success! The app will now appear in your app drawer and on your home screen.

For Windows Desktop and Laptop Computers​

Note: This works best using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

1. Open your web browser and go to Mazdas247.com.
2. Look at the very top of your screen, inside the address bar (where you typed the website name).
3. On the far right side of that address bar, you will see a small icon that looks like a computer screen with a down arrow (or a circled plus sign +).
4. Click that icon.
5. A small box will pop up asking if you want to install the app. Click Install.
6. Success! The Mazdas247 app will open immediately, and a shortcut will be placed on your desktop or taskbar for easy access next time.

For Mac Desktop and Laptop Computers​

Note: You can use Google Chrome or Safari.

1. Open your web browser and go to Mazdas247.com.
2. If using Safari: You may see a convenient banner drop down from the top of the browser asking if you want to use the app. Simply click the Open button on that banner to install it instantly.
3. If using Chrome (or if you don't see the Safari banner): Look inside the address bar at the top of your screen. On the far right side, click the small icon that looks like a computer screen with a down arrow (or a circled plus sign +).
4. A small box will pop up asking if you want to install the app. Click Install.
5. Success! The Mazdas247 app will open immediately, and a shortcut will be placed in your Dock or Launchpad for easy access next time.
