Masking up for seam sealer. We try the best we can to duplicate the job the factory does, but when it comes down to it, we just can't compete with a $4,000,000 robot. lol
I got the opportunity to move up to the other building we have at the end of last week, so I wasn't down by the paint shop to get pics of it all masked up and in the booth. Here it is all painted though. I'm so freakin PUMPED for this alignment rack!! It's a dinosaur that they shouldn't have wasted their money on in the first place, and there's no way we'll ever do an alignment on it, so I get to use it as my personal lift!
It's perfect to lift a car up and work underneath it. And it's got the little lifts on wheels so I can jack a car up to take a wheel off if I need to.
And all finished! It was done last night, but she might not've been able to pick it up yet, cause I took these this morning. And I saw them pulling it back inside after work today...she must love her rental too much! lol
I saw her in the parking lot picking the car up, but I didn't have a chance to introduce myself before she left. Wanted to ask her what the hell was up with all the NES cartridges in her trunk?? hahaha
I hit a pole in my parking garage and have almost the exact same damage (maybe slightly more). My question is what is a reasonable rate to get this much work done. Even a rough ball park helps.
