- 2024 CX-5 Premium
I agree it would be nice to have the latest factory nav maps but it was such an ordeal dealing with the Mazda Toolbox I quit trying.
You have a Premium—are you sure?My CX5 does not have stop sign recognition
Yes, the 2024 Mazda CX-5 Premium (both the standard 2.5 S Premium and the 2.5 Turbo Premium) features Stop Sign Recognition as part of its Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) system. The system reads traffic signs and displays them directly in the Active Driving Display (Head-Up Display) and instrument cluster.
Keep these key details in mind about how the feature operates:
Camera + GPS: The system works by combining data from the Forward Sensing Camera (which detects the sign) and the onboard navigation database (which helps verify road conditions and positions).
Read Signs: Aside from stop signs, the system is also designed to recognize and display speed limits and "Do Not Enter" signs.
I don't remember. But which Mazda tool box do you use? I use the "MapUpdateGlobalAdv".Well, I tried updating my Amazon sourced SD Card. The software kicks back and says the card is unrecognized. I guess I'll have to source another one.
@ADS-B Which seller did you purchase from on eBay?

I'm sure I don't have HUD, not sure whether or not stop signs appear on Nav as I so rarely us it.You have a Premium—are you sure?
Is Google wrong?
It appears in the gauge cluster near the speedometer.I'm sure I don't have HUD, not sure whether or not stop signs appear on Nav as I so rarely us it.
This is the card that I bought. PN: KMV6-66-EZ1. It works on 2025 CX-5, with MazdaUpdateGlobalAdv(v2.1.1) 007, which can be downloaded from this link: MazdaUpdateGlobalAdv

You may get some Windows warning message. Ignore it. Also, if you get a message that the card is not recognised, check Windows security settings, it may block the card. Thanks for posting up the card you got. Mine is supposedly the same but only listed as KMV66Z1B.
I'll give your link a shot to see if I have any success.
Also, check this post if you run into troubles:Thanks for posting up the card you got. Mine is supposedly the same but only listed as KMV66Z1B.

So, your card, TD2K66EZ1, should work with this tool box:Yes, that is the card for 2024-2025. Us 2023 folks living in the slums have other issues![]()
I tried that:So, your card, TD2K66EZ1, should work with this tool box:
Mazda
Make sure you select the correct region, top right corner of the page. You may have done it already so apologies for saying it again.
I found your link in the thread you shared and I installed the "other" Update Toolbox (what a confusing mess), and I had to LOL when I got this:i think you need to download the mazda toolbox not the mazda global
