looking at a 6 whats a good price?

Looking into getting a mazda 6 s from a local used dealer. Its an 04 with105k sport auto and bose sound. It has been rear ended the rear bumper has a gap in it and you can see the scratches the exhaust also doesn't sit right. There are various scratches on the door and it has been curbed. Just curious on what you guys would pay. And what else I should look for

They were asking 11 but talked them down to 7500 its ours if we get them the. Money before another guy that was lookin at it. Bye bye mp3

Also just so I don't have to make another thread I found an 06 mazda 6 for $600 but needs a motor to me it sounds like a good deal I can put a new motor in it but does anybody know what a used motor would run? Ebay or junkyard. I havnt looked at it yet so not sure about the shape but it shouldn't be too bad

No clue... haha. For $600 I'd totally grab it.. as long as the body is in decent shape.

I'm hoping it is especially since some a hole bought the 6 and I can't find another one with a v6 for a decent price

Well, for reference, I bought my 2005 wagon about 9 months ago with 62,000 miles on it for about $10,500. It's an Automatic (V6 obviously since it's a wagon), Sport model with Bose sound, moonroof, roof rack, etc... It was very much in "excellent" condition, no mechanical issues, and they changed the transmission fluid, put new tires on, and took all the dings out before I bought it (included in that price).

I've since replaced a motor mount, but that was on me (having too much fun).

So I would say that $7500 sounded a bit high for a damaged car anyways. Have you looked on Autotrader and ebay motors? I was able to find a bunch of good ones within 100 miles of me.
