Hey guys i had a quick question and forgive me if im breaking any forum rules or anything but i have some LED strips under my car and am in the process of changing the switch out. currently i have a switch with two wires in the back. one connects to my +battery terminal and the red wires on the strip and the other goes to negative obviously. the new switch however has THREE wires. the box says one is for positive, one is for negative and one is for output. so i guess the real question is how do i go about wiring this? would the output wire merge into the positive wire? any help would be appreciated and sorry for the noob quesition

Run power to switch the one that says positive, then run ground to the ground on switch, then run the positive wire from led to the output and ground the black wire on led strip.

ok ur link doesnt work but my strips are currently connected to the battery. are u saying i should take them off athe battery and connect the switch to the battery and then connect the strips to the switch?

That is the way it's supposed to be set up, yes. Hook the switch to the battery and the lights to the switch. LED lights under the car huh?
