Key fob problems

Hi, i have a 2006 petrol sport and i am having problems with my key fob

It will lock ok and the light on the fob works.It will not unlock but the light on the fob works and the tailgate will not unlock but the light works

When using the key all the doors and tailgate unlock ok

Any help would be appreciated

They sometimes go a little buggy when the battery is getting low. Try getting a fresh battery. PS I thought I had real problems when I switched in a new battery from a corner store. Turned out to be low voltage out of the package, (old stock I guess) With a good fresh battery they seem to be good for over a year! Do you have both Transmitter keys? How's the other one?

Sorry forgot to say i put a new battery in, the other transmitter does not work at all.I have bought a new transmitter casing because the buttons seemed to be a bit worn but still the same result
