Question for you guys. I am going over to Japan for business and I am thinking about bringing back a JSPEC Panasonic Car deck.
I know that the Frequencies that they use are different:
Japan:
76.0 - 90.0 MHz (14 MHz wide)
North America:
88.0 - 108.0 MHz (20 MHz wide)
Does anyone know where I can source a FM RADIO CONVERTER? I can find them all over the rest of the world, but not in North America.
FYI, these converters will shift the Japanese band in a desired increment; 10mhz, 12, 14, 16, 18. The converters will not widen the spectrum, so I will loose access to some stations.
Example: 10MHz shift, the display will show 80.0 but it is really tuned to 90.0.
If anyone can help me out, that would be tremendous. I specifically looking at the 16 MHz converter.
Thanks in advance.
