I FINALLY just got my Mazdaspeed6 yesterday. I've been eyeing one since they became available and test drove three so it's about time. It's being shipped from Texas. The Mazda3 is being traded and I'm keeping the MSP. I'll post some pics and driving impressions soon.

I love Black Cherry color too! It's a sport. Would have been nice to have a GT but the only option on the GT I would really want are the leather seats. BTW, are the leather seats in the MS6 the same as the regular 6? Maybe I can pick up a set of leather seats later on.

its the same leather & design... but you know, Im not sure if the seats are bolstered any differently... lol now you got me thinkin. Ill have to look next time Im near the MS6s on my lot.

I've been looking at pics online and I don't see a difference. I've already located a set of black leather seats from a wrecked MS6 for $2500, but for that price I could just get mine custom upholstered with nicer colors and fabrics. I'm thinking alacantera (sp) down the center and leather on the bolsters with the Mazdaspeed logo embroidered in. But what color would work well with the Black Cherry Mica exterior???

good decision and nice color choice...i am a bit partial! and the only thing i wish i had in my MS6 Sport that i could of got in the GT is a power moonroof.

My motto is, any mod that doesn't add horsepower or performance isn't worth the time or money. Why waste your money on seats when there's extra horsepower to be had?

leather makes a big difference since I do alot of highway commuting.

yup i'm with you on that. just park in the shade in the summer, and in the sun during the winter, and you'll be fine

leather makes the car extremely uncomfortable for at least half the year. extremely cold during the winter until the seat heaters warm them up, hot, sticking, and non-breathable in the summer (unless perforated.. I didn't think it made a big dif but my mom went from an 03 to an 05 Altima and yeah.. perforated makes a big dif).. they're easier to clean though? (dunno)

plus I'm not a fan of sitting on slaughtered cows. It's one thing to kill them to sustain ourselves, but to upholster with?

they probably do throw it away and then throw away the beef/veal from the cows/calves they slaughter for the leather haha
