Ok everyone here is an update of my progress. I've fixed my wastegate spring problem by reducing the diameter of the spring wire and the wastegate now opens at about 3 psi. I've located my Manual Boost Controller so its now in the mix. I have all teh flanges drawn out and the drawings go to the machine shop this week to hav ethem CNC machined out from 3/8" mild steel. I should be ordering all my piping and boost gauge in the next couple of weeks in the meantime I have the piping for the manifold now and I will start to fabricate it next week. The compressor housing of the turbo is half way finished polishing and the turbo has been torn down and cleaned down to the smallest cranny. Surprisingly the turbo was extremely clean and anything that was dirty was your normal parts impeller had a little residue on it from the recirculating BOV and whatnot but the turbo has absolutly no shaft play and spins perfectly. No signs of rubbing on the compressor or turbine housings and no chips or dings in the fins. The BOV is now cleaned off polished on the bottom side and painted a Saphire metalic blue on top same as my Valve cover. I have already taken the timing on my intake cam back down from a 6 degree advance to a mere 2 degree advance so that overlap isn't an issue. This kit is coming together alot faster than the other one but will also put down about the same numbers as the spool stage one kit. Plans are in the works now as to how I want to do the intercooler. Thoughts of a top mount have gone through my head but the thought of hacking up my hood isn't somehting I like to think of. So either sidemount or front mount is the way its gonna be I may just buy the stage 3 intercooler upgrade from Terry and adapt it to my setup. More updates to come.
