Is this true about Mazda rims???

Someone had posted that Mazda hub caps come off steel aftermarket rims easily and are lost easily if not used on Mazda OEM rims... ever heard of that or is it just a Mazda dealer trying to push OEM rims instead of aftermarket? Thanks for your feedback and opinions.

I doubt it. mazda probably gets their steel wheels from a generic supplier anyway.

sounds like b.s. to me. hubcaps are going to come off any wheel easily the longer you have them and the more you take them on and off (especially if a shop does it). get what you want and fu(k the haters.

If I remember - its been a looooong time - I think Mazda's wheel/cap mating was pretty good. I tink Mazda's plastic is the pliable stuff that Toyota and Honda also use, and when mated to the wire ring underneath, they hold pretty well. Just kind of ugly, that's all.
