Is this crazy?

So I know GTI's are a bit more expensive than MSPs... nonetheless, how much did they give you for a trade in and how much did you buy the MSP for?

 thanks! This car is an absolute BLAST to drive!!!
Get the Fuel Pressure Reduction kit from JoePMBC.com -- It makes a hell of a difference when it gets hot under the hood.

Edit: Wow, that was my 1000th post. Mad crazy.

Should have been; I lost to one just a few nights ago but it was very close. I'm afraid of launching my car now since I've already burned up one clutch in less than 12k miles.

i guess till we hit the twisty section of the road he fell from my side mirror to my rear view mirror and into a little spec of light

Well, with the tax advantage i actually came out to roughly 18100 for the trade in...but you gotta remeber i lost the 1.9% financing I had on the GTI and you have to pay taxes on the difference applied from you negative equity. Needless to say i took a hit but in the end total hit and financeing was about $2400 dollars. When i bought the GTI i hadn't had too much experience with cars and didn't realize it wasn't what I really wanted ...the MSP was the car i wanted!!! (yippy)

Chico... Let's just say for s***'s and grins that your payments only went up $50. In reality it would probably be alot more than that but just to keep things simple... So you finance for another 60 months... You just paid $3K for a paintjob... If you like the color that much save your money and get a good paintjob.

I don't think you're seeing the big picture tmht. First off, I wouldn't simply be getting the same car with a different paint job. Obviously the car looks different in other ways as well (wheels, guages, shifter, pedals, front and rear, exhuast.. etc.) but even with all that said... even if it WAS the same car. it's BRAND NEW!!! For the record, if it's an extra $50/month there's no deal. However, if it's like an extra $10 or something... I'll have a decision to make.
