Why not just buy the unit from the link supplied and make it work for the P5? It's just wires... I'm sure the Kia also uses a 12V system for the windows.

You haven't done it yet? I did it the first week I had my car, it's so much more convenient.

because the link that i provided is a plug and play. if i wanted to splice wires i would just do it no problem

Don't know if this helps other than letting you know Mazda has done this, but Speed6's (and probably all 6's) come with this standard. Maybe a Mazda tech who is familiar with both cars could help find an easy way to make this work for you guys.
