i don't think you tap into any wires under the dash, they have to be wired to the battery and ground just like stereo stuff

you can actually tap into almost any power wire you want to under the dash constant power ignition power or accessory power. they are all there under the dash, all you need is a test light to find them. as for grounding, there are all kinds of places to ground using the factory grounding points, they can be found allover.
