Intercooler placement

How is everyone fitting there nice FMIC in the lower grill, to me the bumper bar seems to be in the way. Can this be removed and still have an effective bumper? Should the plastic bumper just be cut and have the intercooler infront of the bumper bar? Anybody keep their grill on with a front mount. Also what size is everyone using a 6" height looks about right for the space. Any help would be appreciated.

the spool kit removes the bumper bar to get it to fit behind the grill.

How is the fitment of the bumper after that? Thats what I thought would need to happen but wasn't sure of how it would hold up.

Custom intercooler.

Just trying to find the best solution to mounting the intercooler with the options available. What has everyone mounted teh IC to if the bumper bar is taken out.
