Please direct me to the right forum if this aint the right one.
Our new (1 week old) 6 wagon keeps giving us this problem of not starting. I think it has something to do with the ignition immobilizer thingy/security feature. It has a remote start that we used 1 time just to check it out and then removed the remote from the key chain because we thought it could be the cause of our problem.
There has got to a way to "clear", or "reset" or "zero" this immobilizer feature.
The dealer can't seem to help me, pretty clueless.
How can I de-activate this ignition immobilizer?
or how do I get it to stop causing my (new) car to... not start?
It turns over, it has fuel.
The first time I/we fixed it, we locked it with the remote and un-locked it with the key in the door..problem solved...we thought. Not so lucky the second time or the 3rd time or the 4th or... Now we're just pushin' locks and keys and buttons and WTF?(stoned)
Maybe it's not the immobilizer.
