so my girlfriend and i were parking her car at her apartment and find that someone is parking in her assigned spot. we kindly leave a note requesting that they find another space next time, no big deal. the next day we park again, another person is parking in her spot. this time we go to the rental office and get the official note from the management to find another spot. still, no big deal. a couple of days later she finally gets to park in her spot. 24 hours later, we go outside, and the car is keyed from the back door to the tail light. i hate people. excuse us for trying to park in our spot. how bad is your life that you have to ruin other people's property to feel good about yourself? i don't know for sure if it was the first car that parked in her spot, but i'm almost certain it is. that car is now parked on the right side (where my gf's car was keyed) and it's always double parked in two spots. if you want that parking spot so much, have it. i am a firm believer in "what goes around, comes around" i won't ever sink to their level, it's already over in my mind, but one day they'll get what they deserve.

Some people are so pitty when it comes to life. I must say I wish my life was like theres. Think about it, there must be nothing hard in their life if a simple parking spot means so much. What no bills, no work stress? Gawd must be nice.

If you want I can send you a tool to remove their valve stems :D

But then again as you said we do not stoop to their life.

Go to the rental office and inform them of what is happening. The car is still parking there, double parked and belived to have keyed your car. Heck call the police. Perhaps get their car towed out of it next time its parked there. Any how document it all so if anything further happens you can nail them.

we already called the police, filed a report, notified the management about it. it's pretty clear in the rental contract that they can't do anything about it, and we knew that. but i took the license plates down, i asked around if anyone else had a problem with the people, and like i said, i'm not sure it's them. hell, it could've been totally random. that parking spot is out of the way anyways, so **** it. they win. as long as they leave us alone, they can live their bad lives.

That F-ing sucks!
Maybe some wheel-locks are in order? When it comes time to change tires, it'll cost big bucks to get 4 locks cut off...(laugh)

Yeah, I had my car keyed within the first month of owning it. It was a similar situation in my gf's neighborhood. I got a police report and filed an insurance claim. Since I have a low comprehensive deductible, it was worth doing. The damage was about $700 on my car. I just kept the money and repaired the fenders with touchup paint and a toothpick to apply the paint. Then I used a polishing compound with a scratch remover.
