I just totaled my timesheet and turned it in for the last two weeks......I just set what I believe is a personal record.....86.5 hours of overtime....IN TWO WEEKS!!!! omg...all I have been doing is working, eating, sleeping! and not very much of the last two!!!

Holy krap! That is probably a record.... You are a hard working guy! My most overtime to date has been 78.5 hours (in one pay period, two weeks) when we were implementing a new software package. I wish I got paid for overtime though, then it would be nice. lol.

On a lighter note, I had Monday off, so I've only worked a measly 49 hours so far this week, before today. It's like a vacation...

I usually work mad hours the few weeks following Christmas. I think 2 years ago was the most..86 hours one week and 84 the next, that's what.........90 hours of overtime. Yea, those checks are nice, but like Nuke said, uncle sam loved me, cause he got more of it than I did. I have realized, it does not pay me to work over 55 hours a week. I have to admit, I hardly do 40 a week anymore BUT the next few weeks, the hours wll start to increase

I am not sure....as it is now...the dogs bark at me...lol and not sure if they remember my voice or not.....ahhhhh kids....ahhhh yeah...I got a few...let me think about it.....yeah I got kids, three of them I think...at least to the best of my memory at this point...


GYRE, I am on salary too, but fortunately the company I work for pays us for our OT....but its the equivalent of straight time....but that is better than nothing.

Haha, well if I had three kids, I would work that much overtime too!! First of all because I would need some quiet time, hehe and second of all, you would need all that money to support the little buggers!! I don't think I will ever be able to handle kids, I'm too expensive myself and am not willing to share Well, hey, at least I'm honest, hehe.

DAN!!!! A FELLOW NUKE!!! wow...what a small world....are you IN HOUSE or a contractor? and what plant are you working at?

I am at STP southeast of Houston.......been in house here for 20 years.

oh yeah.....as for the thread title....I just out did myself this last payperiod (two weeks)...just clocked 96 hours of OT. grrrrr glad this outage is over.....and I get off nights next wednesday!!!!!!!
