How to remove mirror covers??

I have been trying for like 30 mins to get this thing to pop off without breaking it...is there something im missing???

If Im not mistaken, you need to take out the mirror first and that colored cover pops off from the inside...
when i picked my p5 up from the dealership, one cover was red and the other was black, so before i bought it i made them paint both black... i think thats how they did it

I'm pretty sure they just pop off. It's been awhile since I painted mine. Think I just took a flat head screw driver with a cloth around it to not scratch and popped em off.

no need to take the mirror off first, just as flav said, take a screwdriver, i used a small flathead precision screwdriver and pryed from the bottom (incase i chipped it, no one would see). there are a couple clips, make sure not to break them, i was close to breaking one.
