How to get around 300 awhp

hey guys well i traded in my Protege 5 over the weekend for a black on black Mazdaspeed 6 GT. Still don't have it though cause the dealership didn't have any and there are bringing it in from the port. Anyways, I was wondering if it possible of acheaving 300awhp with the stock turbo? I was thinking of doing the Mazdaspeed cold air intake, posibbly upgraded TMIC, and full exhaust. What kind of gains would i see from those mods? Oh also thinking of putting a BOV. Will take pics one i get the car. I can't wait!!! Getting factory tint installed and lojack too.
 
full exhaust, cai, TMIC or FMIC will give you between 265-285 at the wheels. Stocks are registering anywhere from 210-230 awhp. If you go all CPE CAI, turbo back exhaust, FMIC (you'll need the greddy SSQV-BOV wit hthis mod), and piggyback EMS WITH TUNE, you'll be between 290-310 awhp I think. I'll be finishing up those exact mods next week, and should really close to 300. With some 100 octane and a sprayed FMIC, I'll bet on 300+ post dyno tune. Try the CPE website for some dyno results.

I am a Newbie here too.... I just picked mine up too about 2 weeks ago..

I already purchased a CP-E CAI, CPE BOV (HKS with a CPE flange), AutoExec strut bar and rear floor bar... yes already dumping some $ into the car...
I was thinking of getting a CP-E FMIC (Front mount intercooler) ... I hear that is the way too go??? any feedback?? anyone have either?? CP-E says that it works alot better than the top mount and produced alot more HP... with no modifications to install...
I also am trying to decide what exhaust to purchase... CP-E only has single exhaust no dual yet... Yet CPE states that it is much better than the Dual... anyone know if that is true? anyone know what exhaust works best??? So I am trying to decide on maybe leaving a false second pipe just for Aesthetics....

let me know if you have ANY feedback???

300whp on a stock turbo is difficult. Realistically you can get there with a CAI, TMIC/FMIC, Upgraded MM, Down Pipe, & Exhaust, & Standback/Piggy with upped boost.

Or for a little more money u can get the ATP GT Series Turbo Kit - Mazdaspeed6 and be around the 300whp border..add a stand back/piggy and you will be there.

The highest stock dyno I've see was at about 281WHP so far.

But then again, dyno numbers are reeeeaaaaallllly subjective.
 
would you guys say $250 for a mazdaspeed CAI is a good price?
 
Isn't there a car that ran high 12s with intake, tmic, xede, and downpipe back? Your best bet is to go in to the correct forums and do a search. This question has been asked before.
