how much you get for trade in

hey guys i'm trying to sell the speed 6 or trade it in, if any of you have traded in your speed 6 what were you guys offered for a trade in

funny you mention this... i was in my dads office this morning flipping through his black book for the trade in value and the canadian blackbook for dealers doesnt even list the mazdaspeed as a trim level for the 6's

i got a friend who got 16.5 for his 06 with like 70k miles and all his mods, nada and KBB say trade in is 16k but everywhere i go they low ball me. One dealer told me 13k and carmax told me 11k i was like WTF!!

Your friend hosed whoever he dealt with. Good for him!

The last couple of years have seen pretty low trade in values for the MS6. However, in more recent months, the value of used cars in general has risen.
Your region will also have an effect. They seem to trade/sell for less in the south, than they do up north, particularly in the north west.
I don't know the specifics of your car, but 13K is probably pretty average for a 30-50K mile sport 2006 m/y. 11K is low.
Your best bet would be to just shop around, seeing as there are those out there willing to part with 16.5K for them.

yea i feel like the selling price for one with 70k would be 16-17 so he got a great trade in price on that if he was going through a dealer

i thught about selling mine as well. 06 with 47k miles. i drove it 25 miles in oct so far.

you see your saying that an 06 sport with 30-50 would average 13 but mine is an 07 GT so i figured it would be worth more
