how is it for tall drivers?

6'6" and I love my MSP.

Was really hesitant after waiting for 9 months for it that when i went to pick it up i wouldnt fit comfortably, but it was awesome. Really feels like a glove. I drive a ton of other cars on a fairly regular basis, and whenever i do, im glad to be back in my MSP. cant believe how well I fit. I have found with relation to long legs that it is not the size of the vehicle or legroom that matters, it is the cut of the dash and the position of the steering wheel and seat. For example in a 98 prelude which I looked at my left leg was totally crushed between the steering wheel and the door, whereas the dash cut was fine and my right leg was fine. In a 98 i30/maxima it is my right leg that is the problem as it is squished between the center console and the steering wheel. Then in nissans, from the pathfinder to the spec-v i have trouble because the dash is cut to low.

Last but not least in one of my most shocking comparisons. The 97 Chevy tahoe my parents have is listedn on edmunds.com as having 41.7 inches of leg room versus 41.2 in 98 M3. I have tooooooooons of room in the tahoe and have NO chance of being able to drive an M3, because of the dash cut and seat placement.

enjoy

:)

I should note that while I say it "fits like a glove" that is compared to 90% of the cars out there. I have more room in some SUVs and in some large sedans, but the way my seat is positioned my knees dont hit the dash, or the steering wheel, which i have not found in many cars, so i cant complain :)

The P5 has just the right combination of all the things required for tall drivers. Just like slug420 said.

The steering wheel is right in front of the seat, you be surprised how many cars it isn't, and it is small and lifts up out of the way. The rails could maybe push back one more click but its still manageable.

The seat cushion height is adjustable, something you never see on compact cars. Making the back of the seat lower and the front higher seems to work for me. It gives me the needed head room while still supporting the lower part of my hamstrings.

I just got back from a 4 hour trip to Burlington, VT. I could have gone the whole way w/o stopping I was so comfortable, but I was using the cruise control so I could rest my right leg.

My only complaint is that I can't seem to get the seat all the way back when the back seat is down. (and yes i did flip the bottom cushion and remove the head rests).

damn some big dudes with proteges. im 6'0" and got plenty of room to spare.

I'm 6'5" tall and I fit decently. I wish I had more headroom and I am contemplating for a race seat and low profile rails. An extra 1" is all I need.

Size

Well I'm 6'4 250, just went to on a 5hr drive to LA from the bay area. It was very comfortable and no pains of any kind when I was done.
