how deep is the dash on the passenger side???

how deep is the dash on the passenger side??? I wanna put a MONITOR right infront of the passenger, but MOUNTED IN the dash... i dont know what to do b/c the A/C ducts are behind there... Is there enough room for me to cut and NOT hit the DUCTS???? PLEASE HELP!!!

Why not use the area where the SRS airbag goes. There should be plenty of room behind that and you can use the orginal panel as a template for a new panel or use it as a mount for the display

i've seen people put RADIO's there and the RADIO is alot deeper then the Monitor... so i was wondering what mods did they have to do if any... and if i would have to do them since im not goin that deep

Thats mounted right on top of the glove box...there's nothing behind there. Gobs upon Gobs of room. The bigest thing with that is the angle so it doesn't break through the space just above the glove box. That radio is almost 7" deep and there's plenty of unobstructed room beyond that.

um.... if u feel the ROOF of the glovebox its a hard plastic and IM THINK that, thats the A/C DUCTS.....(scratch) :wtf: (scratch) :wtf: (scratch)

I did the same thing with my radio in the dash. As far as room for a screen there should be the foam pad plus the thickness of the dash if about as thick as a screen. And yeah the AC duct is right against the dash.

Yes and also had to rerout the duct so that the vent still works.

i just gave in and moved the radio to where the ash tray was and put the monitor in the big empty space... it looks nice... when i get pics ill show u guys

I didn't think I could put my radio where the ash tray is. I found that there is a metal bracket that was in the way.

the metal bracket isnt in the way... it actually helps out
