i heard that if they mistype something on your parking ticket, say wrong colour or something then you can have that ticket dismissed.....

I always get these $40 parking tickets at UCLA cause I keep parking inside the lots with a old ticket when I'm running late for class. (hoping that they won't check )

so .....
will taking all the mazda logos and protege logos off my car help? so they don't know its a mazda?
or can they still nail me with just writing down the VIN number and plate number..?
can I cover up the VIN number on my dash so they can't read it?

i had one of the ucsd parking clowns put the wrong license plate # on my ticket. another one put the wrong color (i had a red truck, they put down white ?!). both times, no ticket. i'm not sure if debadging your car will help, but as long as there is one thing wrong on your ticket, you should be fine.

haha, i seen the parking lots at ucla. they are a b****. you must master parallel parking to survie over there.

and i thought uci parking was bad, lol.....

there is also some myth about overpaying a ticket and then you can't ever get a ticket again. Don't listen to that stuff but my freind says that if they mess up on the ticket it does void it. He works for the city of irvine, dunno about in everyone's area =D

get limo tint all the way around... :)

that is, if you have the hanging permit.

to actually answer the question you ask..."how to keep from getting parking tickets"..

PARK LEGALLY!!!!

THAT will keep you from getting parking tickets.....stop trying to beat the system.....just park where you are SUPPOSED to.

The best solution is always the simplest one.

Way to slap on some reality Sir Nuke :)
