Just figured out this morning that you can adjust your speaker sizes for both the mids and the sub in the stereo. It sounds AWESOME. Factory setting just said off, then set it to 6*6x9 for "speaker" and "woofer" to 8 inch

huh? explain, owings mills no s***, i dont live far from you man, we should get together sometime.

Yep! Haven't been up there yet, always keep forgetting what the damn address is!!! If you can remember the address or phone let me know!

LMFAO, yeah i believe so, u'd be suprised how many tv shows are filmed in lil small towns, like the whole DIY network was filmed in knoxville, tn were i used to live, i didn't even know that LOL crazy crazy.

whoa, no s***, i dunno if you guys are anything like me but when i find something new out i must go out and check it out so i went out to my car put it on acc, and started fiddlin with the sterio for the first time ur right sounds a shitload better with the speakers settings i fiddled around with it, turned the bass up, and the nf level for -03 (default) to 00, if you move the nf level up bass seems to get louder but more distorted so 00 was pretty descent anyways later.

I just emailed MotorWeek and asked them if they wanted to test a 2003.5 msp considering I live right there, they can test mine!!! LOL, we'll see what kind of response I get back from them!

also i read on another thread the weatherstripping in the engine bay onlong the backside jst below were the windshield hits if you remove that the cars engine temp will be alot cooler i'll be doing this later on today after i week up IM SLEEP DEPRIVED!

Logan

Hey Logan, how did you get your production #? I called Mazda Canada and they said they didn't have them?

I tried it, but didn't notice a big difference, but i'm no audiophile so i dunno. I did turn the gain down on the amp a bit and that helped with bass distortion...1st MP3 in NH needs to chime in here and give us his expert opinion...

Thinking of making custom sub enclosures for the msp. I'll post a few pics here in a minute of what I did in my 93 accord.

well, that is if I can figure out how in the hell to add attachments!!! Anyone know how?

Okay, figured it out! Here is one of my accord with 4 10's in it. Lasted until I actually got a flat tire and had to rip everything out to get to my spare tire.

ok, I would like to know how you get to the menu or whatever to adjust the "speaker size" on your cd player?? you said you ahve to turn it off or somthing?? doesnt that make it flip around?? Im a noob when it comes to kenwood.. my poineer head unit was SOOO Much easier to work with.. I hate kenwood....

just press the "source" button until it says "all off", then after it is all off, press and hold the blue "q" button next to it, it will bring you into the setup menu. Then use your am,fm, forward and back buttons to set it up.
