Do you need to hook up the RPM signal wire or is it not totally necessary? I need help ASAP because I'm installing right now.

Is it the one that does 1/4 mile times and $hit??? If it is you would need the rpm signal wire, it it isn't then no it is not needed.

hey, its not mandatory.

i hooked mine up to the gauge wire. (popped gauges off, the wire color is listen in the car electrincs secntion)

Alright so we didn't hook up the RPM signal wire but we did everything else. When I turn the car off everything turns off including the turbo timer. What could be the cause of this?

you MUST hook up the ebrake wire

I did hook it up but maybe the connection isn't good. I know for sure we hooked up all the other wires correctly. The E-Brake was up and it still shut off?

Alright we re did the E brake hook up and it finally worked thanks dexter. I'm just happy it works now. Yes haha

when i turn the ignition sometimes my engine will shut off but it will keep everything else running? I give it a lil gas then turn it off and it stays running? Is it suppose to almost shut off then suddenly turn back on again?

No, you might have a short. Go back in and make sure that you have every thing connected correctly. Also, use 122 Vega (I think) write up on how to install the timer. Also, plug in the tach wire, it makes your life much easier.
