any info would be nice

thanks

I got a set from ebay. To me it wasn't worth it. It seems I had a problem with one of the ballasts and for the life of me couldn't get any warranty done from the company that made them. I've bought two sets (one for the headlights and one for the fog lights) from Xenon Expert. Had no problems with them.

what ones did you get? are they bright? i dont understand all the different numbered ones...... lol

I've got Protophile's kit in the wife's car. Got it for $99 shipped.

I have Apexcone's setup I paid $130 shipped on my car(Wish I woulda just gone with Protophile's kits, but he wasn't selling at the time)

So far, i have no complaints on either setup. Both perform spot on.

One thing though, and that Gary's (Protophile)'s customer service. It hands down is the best I've ever delt with

Don't cheap out to save $30 and get a kit off Ebay, as stated before, try getting an Ebay seller to warranty your stuff. Ain't gonna happen

Gary sells his kits with lifetime warranty and he stands by it. Worth every penny in my book

The previous owner of my car put in HID's.. ive checked everywhere for a brand and have yet to find one.. Im assuming they are from Ebay though.. Overall, they are nice.. Ive gotten tons of compliments and for 6000k, they look like every other person I know running brand name 6000k HID's.. Ive owned the car a little for almost a year and a half and have yet to come across any problems with them

EDIT: like everyone else has said, the ebay kits dont have warranties (from what i have seen) so if you are worried about quality, go from a known seller.. this is what ill be doing once mine crap out on me

^^ yeah, theres no name on them at all.. i checked the first day i had the car so ive always told people they were ebay HID's, which they most likely are.. Once they fail, i will upgrade to one that actually comes with a warranty.. i didnt pay for these (although the quality is damn good) so once they go out, i will spend my own money on some that have a good rep to go with them

Protephile sells some quality kits...check out his thread:

although, remember that because we do not have headlights designed for HID bulbs/setups by using a "conversion" you could be blinding other people on the road...

I know the P5 had an HID option for the japanese market, is this not the same for the sedan as well?

So far, i have no complaints on either setup. Both perform spot on.

^^^ Protephile's HID kits FTW! I friggin' love mine.
X2, i got the 6000k for the fogs, and 8000k for headlights, ive only gotten flashed twice, because the 8000k are not blinding and i like the blue, but they are still pretty bright, i would personally stick the 4500k or whatever blinding lights you want into the fogs so they are not overkill lol, but ya, the fact that Protephile is great with costumer service and the lights just fit perfectly with no issues, everything is super easy, you can't beat it anywhere..
-also here's a pic of mine at night, im just covering part of the flash, they are brighter in person but it gives a general idea (dono where the no flash setting is on the camera lol, too many options)
