My car only has a little over 300 miles on it and the hesitation in 3rd and 4th sux. The car feels strong in 1st and 2nd but when i shift to third it just doesnt pull. And in 5th the car feels really strong. Anyone else just have hesitation in 3rd and 4th?

Nope. I barely seem to notice the hesitation everyone's been talking about. It feels just about as fast as all the documentation states it to be.

Scoot, how many miles does your car have? Also, it doesn't hesitate if you gradually get on the gas, but if you floor it it doesnt wanna go.

yeah i have 900 miles on mine now and i havent felt hesitation yet either, guess i got lucky. I've noticed a couple people saying if your cruising on a highway and you want power to pass or something and your in fith gear then downshift to fourth they have no power, well if your going 70 and in fith gear your rpms arent up that high, i have noticed that if you just downshift to fourth it doesnt pick up very well but i think that is just the gear ratio's i just go into third and walla instant power :)

Is this your first car? You do know there is a break-in period, which doesn't include racing sentra's on the highway (chair)

This is my first car and I never went over 4000 rpm when I was "racing" the Sentra. My car has only been up to 5000 rpm, and that was only one time when I spun in 1st the first day I got it. I'm not going to take it over 4000 until I get over 600 miles and then change the oil.

I probably will eventually but I'm kinda tight on cash now so I can only afford the Blitz TT right now.

you know. i bet i never feel hesitation because first and second are the only gears i really get all up on

You guys that don't feel the hesitation must have either had some car previously that was such a piece of s*** that even the hesitation feels good to you or you just can't recognize it. I went and test drove another MSP over the weekend hoping a later production unit would be fixed and it was still there. I've driven 5 MSP's in three states and they all had it.
