Hershey Center Autocross

Just returned from a great day at the Hershey Center in Mississauga Ontario.
Met many new faces and great drivers that were willing to share there experience and know how.
This was the first time I have ever attended such an event, and I'm hooked.
Well I went O/C two times and the other three were clean.
My name is Phillip P. on the picture of the time sheet with the Mazdaspeed, and the other MSP was Wes. Solid guy.
I was hoping for more of a turn out of MSP's, but a few members of the TOProtege.com club showed.
Lil' Sushi, and Simon were racing and did well, there were a few others there but didn't in touch with them, Rowan came in late and was changing tires for some odd reason (wasn't racing).
Many of the drivers had racing slicks on helping them in the tight turns and bends. I need a set badly.
Anyways hopefully there will be more MSP's at the Brampton Center tomorrow June 15th.
If anyone from the TOProtege.com club can post this message at that site it would be appreciated, I have no clue on how to submit pictures there.
See ya.

Wes in in the 62 car and me in the 59.

Looking good!!
Hey, I'll be in the same class as you for all the Hershey Events.
My poor MP3 against all these boosted cars! :( hehehehe

I was really surprised to pull up and see two new MSP's that I'd never seen racing before! So now we've got three of you hooked. muwahahahaha :P

I wasn't racing because I had to go buy some racing lug nuts for my new wheels, and then go break in my tires a bit before tomorrow's event. Yes must've seemed weird for me to change wheels, then take off without doing any runs on the course.

What tire pressures were you running?

I only ask because I used Logan's stock tires at the Picton event a few weeks ago, and they were completely silent! Even when locked up, spinning, understeering, etc I couldn't get a peep out of them. Maybe it was just the different surface. Picton was a pretty broken up airfield vs. the fairly new asphalt of Hershey.

damn I did not know about this or I probably would have came as well because I so want to see and hear that exhaust on your car

It turned out to be a great event, both Saturday and today Sunday in Brampton. There were four MSP's in total. Car #46 Logan, #120 Me (Phillip), #122 Scott, and #136 Wes.
I had to leave early since Fathers day and all. But the following time slip was posted after the fourth run. This was my best run of the day.
I most likely will not be able to make it out for the MOM2 since I have to work.
Just ask Logan what he thought of the sounds coming from the exhaust.
The best advice given to me today was by Logan: "Go slow to be fast"
