help!!should i trd p5 for msp???????

so guys should i trade in my p5 for the 2003 msp????
if i did i would get a killer deal 19000 out the door.
also i could use some of my aftermarket parts on it.
i would also be saling some p5 stuff to get extra cash.

I guess, it depends on parts you are talking about using.

P5 is naturally aspirated and MSP is turbo, so unless your parts are about comestic, suspension you'll be alright. As for anything that might mess with the airflow, you might wanna think about it, cuz tuning turbo and NA are 2 separate philosphies.

isnt 19000 the regular going rate since all msps have a $1500 cash back?

id think you still only get $12000 or so from the dealer, so that means you are $7000 in the hole.

you can buy a whole lot for $7000...

mps sticker is 20,500...i get s-plan so i get 1,000 off that
then the 1,500 cash back brings me to 18,000 plus im taking the dealers old 2003 models so they are willing to help me out.
plus tax,ic,ect.. brings me to 19,000 or so.
i was hopeing to get 12,000 for my p5, if i do then bye bye p5.
i dont owe mazda that much so its hard to decide........
i wouldnt be 7,000 neg only 3,000.

so basically you will either have to put down the 3 grand or roll it into the msp finance which brings the car total to $22,000 (if you are only 3000 upside down). Too much for a MSP I think.

I'm in the same boat. I'd have to come up with $3000 to stay at the payments I have now. If you got the extra $$$ do it.....Otherwise I'd pass and keep modding the MP5.

damn when i bought the car the s-plan was available for it. O well if you want it I say go for it.

Hey Mike,

I would get an MSP if I were you. If you can sell your car private party, pay off the exsisting loan, put like 2000 down, and drive away clean. If you are upsidedown in your loan and selling private party won't cover your payoff, then you might want to think about keeping your clean P-5. Just a thought.
