$350
Its speced to 75 x 4 rms
it actualy does 100x4 + 100x2 or 300x1. Depending on the wiring.
It won't fit under a seat but its only 1.75" high.
It uses something called a passive output that are basicly parallel to the front outputs. So the fronts can easily be put to 2 ohms over any 4 speakers and you still have 2 unused channels.
i ran my MBs on the front channels, me rears on the passive channels with Xtants 8db resistor modual in place and ran the rear channel bridged to 4 8W3's.
o...I just went to the xtant site and it says the 604 is a 75x4...how come yours is 96x4?
If I get a sub later on...can I bridge channel 3 and 4 to power my sub? So it'll be 75W going to front stage and 300W going to the sub according to xtant's site?
Edit: ignore this...we post at the same time and I think you answered my question already. Let me think about it...is $350 with shipping or not?
Without shipping, it should only be $15.
The test certificet said it tested to 96 watts rms at 12 volts on the least powerful channel. So when bridged it actulay was doing 400 rms to the subs. The apm is underated since it is a competition level amp, remember this thing goes for $999.99 when new.
By the way it it crokes get it back to me and i give it to Xtant, as far as they are concerned it has 2 years of warrenty left since i am an authorized installer, and its in my car, (wink)
Actualy a single 8 is very quick and only needs 1/3 cubic ft of air space, I'd suggest 2 of them though.
The Xtant can go on the back seat to stay out of te way.
Also if you want it painted to match your car let me know.
Ok...hey thanks for all the info. I'll need to go and price out the Focals and how much they want to put everything in. See if they can make me an amp rack so I can put everything nice and flat on the hatch floor. Living in a condo sucks...can't work on my car in the underground parking.
