Help installing boost gauge

well everyone calls them one thing or another, and a lot people who sell them dont have the slightest clue how to tell them apart. for me it meant digging through a box at autozone for 5 mins to find the right one... i can look up the duralast part # for you in a little while... that might be the easiest way to find one.

basically its any SPDT automotive relay (single pole, double throw). my radioshack didn't have them.
even easier, any relay that can support 1-2 amps with 5 terminals. the bottom or side would have the pins labelled like the diagram.

ok i kept the box around for this very reason.
its a duralast 19273 relay, theres also 31H09 stamped near the barcode, but i think autozone used 19273 as their part number... 7-10 bucks, somewhere in there.
relays in general are cheaper online, but i hate waiting.

if AZ is out, just ask for a handfull of relays, pop a few boxes open, and check the bottom. if it has 5 pins, theres a 99% chance it will work.
be sure to let me know how it goes, if it solves the issue you can bet ill forward that diagram to ken, and others whove had this issue.

and just as a reminder, you can wire all of them on one relay, and can do it in-line. the white wire is running to ACC already and orange to the headlight circuit, so just cut those two and throw this in there.

sweet, let me know. if not i just purchased a boost gauge off the FS section, but i doubt ill be installing it until i have the money to overhaul everything i want to in the engine bay anyways.

where do i hook up the power cable(red)? I tapped my stereo power and the gauge worked, but now my stereo doesn't... i think this was a no no. Anyone know how to fix the stereo issue too?
