2014 mazda 6 sport at
I just traded in my 2011 camry for the 2014 mazda sport AT earlier today. Bought the first one in my area. Personally i think there are only two trims. Grand touring and Sport. I got Black. Ill upload pics once i get off from work or figure out how to do it from my phone.

Congrats on your purchase! Looking forward to your pictures.... of the car, i mean.

Oh and welcome to the forum.

Ill buy fogs and rear lip as soon as they are available. Dealership didnt even know what the price would be yet (uhm)

Night and day. Besides the fact its so much more fun to drive the fuel economy is alot better.

Great feedback from a new owner...Welcome to Mazdas247 and thanks for posting about your new Mazda6!

I wonder if this will be a growing trend...Camry to Mazda6...

I figured that was the case, but just wanted to ask some who has had experience with a newer Camry vs the new 6. Yeah, the last Camry I drove was night and day compared to most Mazda's I've driven in favor of Mazda, I figured much hasn't changed.

I'm guessing that was the response from the salesman. They only know as much as they want to know and if it doesn't increase their commission enough they usually don't bother.

The part numbers and list prices for the accessories are all on Mazda's site: http://accessories.mazdausa.com/web...014&modelSelected=vc254&modelName=2014+MAZDA6

Most of them are also on our site: http://mazda.handa.com/mazda6_14.html

pic of rear lip. as soon as a i find a good tint shop that will be next. Also taking any and all rim suggestions. nothing above 20"s.

There was one MT model in Raleigh which is about an hour drive from me. I personally dnt drive manuals plus that model is so stripped down i dnt think it woud be worth it to anybody unless you really love the MT. Ill post more pics shortly. As far as a review, im 6'3. Im starting to notice things i didnt during the test drive. I got a lot of blind spots. Low roofline and highback seats make it almost impossible for me to see out the back window. Kind of like my brothers camaro. Car is slightly sluggish till about 3000rpm then it flies. reminds me alot of the gen 1 mazda 6 just better. I like how the car tends to hold its power while braking allowing you to fly through corners. Gas mileage is great so far on the new engine.

Very nice. Are there lower trim models with the light color interior?

The stock wheels look fine to me. More tires are available in this size and cheaper.

Note that you can adjust your side mirrors to avoid any blind spot: http://www.caranddriver.com/features/how-to-adjust-your-mirrors-to-avoid-blind-spots
I do that, but my wife just refuses. She wants to see her own car in the mirrors. For drivers like her, blind spot detection technology is a must.

After the first 1K miles, don't be afraid to rev it up! And use the M mode. By the way, does the owner's manual say anything about transmission fluid change intervals?

Yes, when looking on mazda/usa for available models i did see more black interior though. The blue mica and soul red were the two exterior colors that had the tan interior in my area. Owners manual only listed the manual trans for every 24 months change the trans oil. Said nothing about the auto.

now that you mentioned it the 19" tires cost so much more to replace! you can get a 17 for less than 100 while the 19 is like at least 170. I want the touring but they only come in 19s, good thing you dont replace tires often haha
