Suuuurre, if that makes you sleep better at night you can pretend Mazda actually has to do something void your warranty due to an aftermarket part. But in most cases, if there is an internal problem with your engine they will site the CAI or any other engine mod and wipe their hands clean. Now if you have a transmission problem or the door locks stop working and they try that B.S. with a CAI you'll have something to b**** about.
Check my post count...I have been here for a while and I have seen it all. Mazda is notorious for doing everything they can to void your warranty whether it be from a Mazda part or an aftermarket part.
I'm not saying don't do it...but I am reminding you that if something should go wrong with your car your best approach is to remove the CAI before taking the car to the dealership. And if you are going to do that, don't waist the extra $50 on the Mazdaspeed one. Instead, help fund one of the aftermarket companies so they can develop more parts for our cars.

Your best bet is to remove the CAI before the car goes to the dealer for any kind of work. Of course the first time you go to the service dept for work, talk to the service mgr and ask get feeling on mods. Might be a mod freindly dealership.NCZ13 said:well i bought a AEM SRI last night
