Okay so the other day I wanted to see how my car was running so I did a data log on my AP, long story short I review my log an notice only 75% throttle through my WOT runs, I was like WTF!!!! Any who I removed my weather floor mate cause they are pretty dam thick and that did the trick 99% throttle through WOT. Feels alot better hahah Iv been doing WOT runs for a year an a half at 75%. Just wanted to post FYI

uhmm... srsly? and those were Mazda all weather mats or aftermarket? They gotta be INSANELY thick to only have gotten 75% throttle.
just for more reference, could you take side pics of mats and measurements? im curious now cause i WAS considering getting em for winter as i get ready for snowboarding season.

Yes seriously. They are the mazda 6 all weather floors mats, they are no more than a 1/2 in thick. I modified the floor mat so the pedal will clear, ill post some pics up tomorrow!

i'm pretty sure you were looking at 2 different things. throttle position maxes out at 75%, it will never be 99%, where as pedal position will go to 99%. i have the all weather floor mats and never had one problem with them.

heh, we learn something new everyday.
i never new since i have no AP to see this info.

outta curiousity, why does throttle position max at 75%, but pedal postion can go to 99% ?
it dont have anything to do with our throttle plates rotating too far does it...

no idea, just how it is. i believe if you have a dashhawk it will show max throttle position at 80% i guess its how ever the values are set up the logging device.
