We try not to stiff other members when it comes to selling parts on this board. You know the value is no where near that, as is clear from it's condition. I'm sorry you bought it like that but do research on the car and the parts. Read what people are paying or not paying on other systems. You can't buy a car, go drive it for 10k miles, and sell it for $10 less than you bought it for, it's not how things work.
I understand the concept of negotiating but it sounds as though maybe your initial asking price, whether or not it's serious, is scaring MANY off and rightfully so. The exhaust is old, torn up, and 2.5". It's not made from gold nor is it limited edition or hard to find. They're still in production and the company making it is thriving.
Maybe you can get that kind of return out of slightly bent or torn cornered baseball cards but we're not talking rookie first prints, we're talking an exhaust.
