Front grill question

ANYBODY HAVE OR KNOW ANYTHING ON WICH BADGLESS FRONT GRILL FITS BETTER NEXMOD OR SPEEDLINE OR ARE THESE THE SAME?? I KNOW THE CB WILL FIT GOOD BUT DONT WANA SPEND $400.. THE LATER ARE ONLY AROUND $100 JUST NEED TO PAINT..

i just bought the autoexe one, and from what know(which isnt much) that it fits just fine

Anyways, try searching through some older threads. I read up before somewhere that one brands speed6 AE style grill (a knock-off) was known to fly off at high speeds, lol. Some people use extra 3M double sided tape to avoid the problem but try looking around first. I bet the price might reflect the quality of the product but I think the actual AE CF grill is over priced.

Caps dont bother me. whatever. But I have been told any aftermarket grill mainly the auto exe has been known to fly off at high speeds. Which if on my car is high speed every damn day. Just get a lot and quality double sided tape unless you want to epoxy it to the front bumper

Yes I am going to buy the speedline carbon fiber front grille eventually. The regular speedline (non CF) fit fine from what I have heard. They mount on the 2 stock bolts on each side so its not going anywhere . . . They can paint it if necessary too. Only downside is the shipping from china or japan . . .

Speedline gets my vote

reeeeeeeeally...the ae grill can fly off?

I bought a nextmod badgeless grill and YES it did fly off... when they sent me a new one I made sure to use high strength double sided tape under. I've had it now for 3 years no complaints and I only Paid 100$ plus S&H, it fits great, looks great and cost way cheaper than the autoexe.

If you put any grille on without attaching the bottom, it will come off. Look at the stock one, why do you think there are those four attachments on the bottom? As was said, use 3M automotive double-sided tape on the bottom, the two screws on the top and you will be fine. I have one of the supershyguy grilles and it has given me no problems.

Qwik ur 6 is bad ass with the mazdaspeed logo and red outline on the grill i wouldnt change it if i were you. the speed logo matches the car and the red out line goes with the rims.. it flows real nice.

i doozin its. after i get all the damn mods that have been lying around on the car (baffle, bsd, spin on, springs, exhaust) next is this damn bumper.

Yes unfortunately it is photoshopped but I spoke to the guy at Nextmod and he agreed to make an open grill like the one in my sig if only he had 12 costumers... I got the 12 people but he didnt want to become an authorized seller, and as a moderator I could not take any chance... I think there was someone who actually did it, don remember who though.
