I cant understand why they release the auto first... same deal with the BMW Z4... by releasing an auto only women and old men will buy it... and turn it into another Z3 which has a reputation for having girl drivers.

yah.. its the 350 chassis, and a few other parts for that matter... and for anyone thats interested.. my uncle is in charge of the dept for warranty issues for nissan north america... the next Z is gonna be convertible, then comes the TURBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
uncle told me he could get me the turbo model from the 04 model year in about 10 mo for... get this... ONLY $25,000..... how ya like them apples!

oh.. and he can get me the G35 for a damn good price too

The 6 spd manual is avaiable now. I don't think i'll get it though since that will tip the price higher then I can afford.

They release autos first becuase more people can drive a car with an auto then a manual.

I assume the turbo will be a 4 banger not the 6 unless Nissan is planning on breaking the Japanese Agreement not to produce a car with more then 300 horse power.

No. All Japanese Auto manufactures have an agreement with one another that none will produce a car with more then 280 rated HP. The Skyline is the worst offender of the rule which is why it is so under rated.

ok.. not NO style... but not really much at all.. the corvette is a cool car i guess.. but compare it to an NSX... similar style body... and the NSX wins aesthetically HANDS DOWN!

and if ANYONE says that mustangs (the new ones) have style.. i will personally pull a Jay and Silent Bob and come to your house, quote your post, and beat your ass heh

The New Mustang has a great Pony car style. The 10 year old NSX style was little to none, corvette is much better. I have no love for the NSX. Over Priced and under powered. Looks OK but not for $90K.

ill give you that... not for 90k... but its still alot nicer than the corvette... IMO, for some reason.. whether its the designers, the "impression" the companies give, the customers, or something else... anything with a ford, GM, chrysler, chevy, etc, etc on it just screems "YYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!! i dunno a corvette z06 is purty damn good car and not drastically overpriced thats just my opinion....dont care much for any of the other makers......i thought ford owned mazda....i dunno im new

Ya I agree, I really don't like vettes.... I see like a million everyday and they just look boring to me. Nothing to drool over. Sure they're faster than your average car, but nothing special in my eye.

I dunno man, for $50K, the vette z06 has it all. a HUD, great handling, fast as hell...and looks damn nice...better than my mp3. It just lacks a back seat, and it's a fiberglass coffin.

1st MP3 in NH - Where did you hear about this agreement? When did they make it? Why did they make it?

Actauly i have heard it form several sources. Its mentioned on either Grand Turismo 2 or 3, I'm looking right now, for play station.
Other then that its by word of mouth and random car magazine articals.

Yeah, Vettes are a dime a dozen out here. Not really special to me. I rode in a 99, and the interior was lacking that .....well it looked cheap for a $45,000 car. Those G35 Sedans are tight also. I think some aspects of the G35 are better aestetically than the 350Z.

I'm trying to convince my dad to buy a G35...and I think I did when i showed him the Road and Track article on it...in a few tests it outperformed the 350...
bad ass performance with a classy look...plus, the 4 door version won the shootout for lux sedans as well (R&T)
