Greetings,

I am a possible first time Mazda owner.

I am looking at the Mazda 5, as it will fit my familly's needs well.

I am considering purchasing:
2009 Mazda 5 Touring
Compass Auto-Dimming Mirror
Crystal White Pearl Paint

Here is my dealers current offer:
$20,970 with a $1,750 rebate.

Is this reasonable?

Thank you for your consideration.

so 19220 before TTL? if so yes i would say its a pretty good deal, but you might try to get them to throw in window tint or some other option you would like to have to close the deal. It's about the same $ off I was able to get on my 09 GT with sat, remote start, and auto dim/homelink mirror

Where are you seeing the $1,750 rebate? MazdaUSA’s offer is $500 cash back with 0.9% for three years. Some dealers will offer a higher rebate in lieu of a low finance offer, but $1,750 seems a little high - is there a trade-in in the picture and they are juggling numbers?

As far as the compass / auto dimming mirror goes, it’s a $156 option: http://www.mazdaparts.org/au9.html

The question about location is simply because there are a number of Canadians here and the Canadian car market is very different than the US car market.

If you are close to St. Louis, call up Bommarito Mazda out of St. Louis (three different locations, just search inventory to find one you are looking for). I picked up my Mazda5 Sport with manual transmission from the West location in February, the price was at invoice before Mazda’s incentives which at the time were $1,000 cash back and 0% financing for three years. Basically I picked it up $16,500 before TTL with no money down, no payments for three months, and 0% financing for three years.
