Have you applied any Fabric Protection for the cloth seats on your mazda5? Did it work for you? Which one's good?

I used scotch guard during the early years of ownership but in the end the kids always found a way to teach those seats a lesson lol. the stuff does make it easier to clean them but it's still a pain. I just bough t a wet/dry van and with that we're gonna soak and scrub and vacuum dry.... then get pleather eBay seat covers and call it a day. Kids 1, parents 0

Personally, I'd stay away from chemical sprays, especially if children are involved. Read this if interested in knowing more about the toxicity of fabric guards, and why the current generation of ScotchGuard doesn't work as good as the original stuff. (Not that I haven't exposed my kids to things I've later discovered were toxic, so not preaching here.)

I'd go with seat covers for the rear seats.
