If you do that +35 and not the +42 should look a lot better. That is the perfect fitment in that size wheel for this car. This car has a +28 to +45 offset range.
That was fast, thanks for posting those up! Even that relatively high offset still makes the ride height appear higher. I swear mine looks lower than that on the stock wheels. Its amazing how rpf1's look good on just about every car.
That was fast, and yeah Eyeballs, I've thought the same thing. I'll be damned if my 16x7s with 45 series(exact same diameter as the 15x7 w/55 series) on the racing beats sometimes look HIGHER to me than a sport model on its base wheel/tire combo with stock suspension. Even though the math says the difference should be noticeable and dramatic. Some optical fuckery going on there. Racing Beats would be indisputably awesome if you could just get that nose .25 to .5 inches lower.
thanks guys! It is strange how the enkei's look good on any car..these rims were direct swap from my miata. They are definitely a lot lighter than stock. The tires are what makes the car look higher. They are relatively low profile. 195/50/15
