Emanage Blue Base Map

I'm honestly done with my protege.. I have moved on... I. Straight up selling my car all the parts I have and everything

I bought an Evo... I spent... 3500 on it and I'm pushing just shy of 500 (479 Awhp)

Im gonna mess with it this weekend. Which software version did you run? Do I need to do the blue to gold to run the autotune? i found most of the files on yahoo emanage but if you could get a screen shot it would help a lot.

not only this weekend, but the one after, and the next, and the one after that, and then that monday when it won't run...and that wednesday for the doctors appointment, and then right after the autoparts store closes and then...and then...and then.......you get the point.

It seems like the MAF signal to the ecu causes all the problems. Would it make sense to run a different maf. I know the sr20 guys use cobra mafs to get around this similar issue.

I been reading up on it a little and it seems that if you could match the flow in scfm to the voltage output you could in theory change the fuel demand and timing by providing a maf that gives you a controled flow at a desired voltage. Correct me if Im wrong but the reason we cant control timing is because when you lower the maf voltage to decrease the fuel in lower rpms you also pull timing along withit. Electroniclly speaking this could be an easy fix by installing a high flow to lower voltage output maf. Then timing is not pulled from the ecu going crazy over the maf and timing can be ajusted through the emanage. What's your thought with the exception of your horrible experiences.

Holly f&%K! I have been beating my head this week trying to get it running and decided to recheck my connections. And there it was, a bad connection. Going to get it tuned Saturday but seems to run fine.

I'm going the same route with a EMBlue i've aquired...I support Flspeed with this too...i will also be posting my success and possible failures using this unit!
