Electric Oil Pressure Gauge Question

I'm gonna be hookin up an electrical oil pressure gauge and will be needing a "T" fitting so the idiot light and gauge are functional. Anyone have the thread sizes handy or perhaps a link to a place that has the size "T" I need to knock this project out. I have the dual gauge bezel surround thing and wanna go with oil pressure and volts in it. The AFR can go in the steering column pod that I also have later on down the road. Wanna get the other 2 going for now.

Sorry, I went with a sandwich plate at the oil filter for mine. Pretty sure I've seen some How-To's on here though for the T method.

Wish I could help, but the gauge I just installed used the oil pressure adapter plate from Prosport. It didn't use the stock sender location. The Prosport sender is 1/8 - 27NPT.

...Come to think of it, I did take the stock sender out so that I could install a pressure gauge to test. I used this gauge. Looks like Harbor Freight allows you to download the manual. The gauge screwed in without any additional fittings, meaning that the stock gauge must be 1/4 - 18NPT (assuming their document is accurate).

I am not going home for lunch today, but I can confirm that later tonight.
__________

Edit- I recall now that I used a 7/16" wrench to screw in the test gauge. So yeah- I am confident in saying that the stock sender is 1/4 - 18NPT.

Does your oil pressure gauge sender 1/8" NPT? If so look here:

Help with oil pressure gauge install

Take a look at the link in post #12. That is the adapter I bought, it comes with 1x npt plug btw.

Warning! Electric oil pressure senders are a bit larger so you may have a clearance issue. I can try to get a pic of that adapter w/ scale reference if you need me to.

Thanks for the replys guys........I like the Stealthmode thing. Am also considering just going without the idiot light. I thought I read somewhere about the sandwich plate not being the most accurate place to pull oil pressure from. Not really seeing why it wouldn't be OK tho. The stealthmode thing would have one port to block off and the sandwich plates come with plugs in them already and they are close in price too so still mulling this over. I know simplest, least leaks likely way would be to just kill the idiot light and go with the new gauge by itself, leaning towards that...thanks again.........

Block and stock sensor threading is 1/8" BSPT (British Standard). To "tee" off at the stock location this is what I did when I had my oil pressure sender tee'd into the stock location (later moved due to the turbo feed line):

(a) 1 1/8" BSPT to 1/8" NPT male adaptor
(b) 1 1/8" NPT female "tee"
(c) 1 1/8" NPT male to 1/8" BSPT female adaptor

Thread (a) and (c) into the horizontal ports of (b). Thread the aftermarket electric oil pressure sender into the vertical port of (b) and the stock pressure sender into the port of (c). Thread (a) into block and attach all electrical connections.

Also remember it's good to have differing metals for these kind of connections (usually the male side is the softer metal) so you don't gall the threads. I got all my parts from McMaster and I think (a) and (c) were brass and (b) was iron.

The stealth mode comes with a plug, the only thing you should need would be a little bit a teflon tape.
