attached are pics of my turbo. around last year i volunteered to test fit a prototype downpipe for DSMConvert, so that's the explanation if you're wondering why the nuts looks funny/different from OEM.

can anyone notice if there's anything missing ? i read that there were 5 bolts that hold the s-pipe to the exhaust turbine, so i'm hoping that's not the case here...

thanks antoine

does anyone notice anything strange about the s-pipe/exhaust turbine ? i'm not majorly experienced with the s-pipe and how it's connected to the turbo. does anything look like it could be causing a rattling ? i tightened my heatshield, and rattling is still there. the bracket that holds the j-pipe to the engine block isn't broken...so i'm not sure if it could be the turbo. help ! :(

looks like you are missing a support bolt for the J-pipe (in the 3rd picture)
the pipe may be rattling against the mount.

I think you got it there...but if you ask me...not only does it look like the bolt is definately missing, but it looks as if the mount itself is broken.I would run out and check mine but its ungodly cold out right now and wet to boot.

Looks like someone needs some studs, bolts, and a set of motor mounts.

mmmk ! thanks guys. i'll be looking under the car, and hopefully i can get some help with the studs on the turbo

actually...maybe i'll go to the dealer and get that s*** fixed. i just put the stock airbox back on and removed my mbc. and i'll probably try to hide my AFC. aisha !
