discolouration of steering wheel

I'v just noticed that the steering wheel hub (centre of wheel-black plastic part) on my 2002 P5 has developed a slight discolouration, which can only be described as a dull spot while the rest of the wheel hub seems to be a shiney black colour. All i have ever used on it is armorall wipes, and even that not very often. Can someone tell me if this is a warrenty issue or is it my fault for using armourall wipes.

Armorall is CRAP! Your interior gets addicted to it.... I personally stopped using all of those oils, and use Quick Detail to clean. But don't use it on the leather steering wheel! Quick detail is the greatest, it works for everything! I would probably use Son of a Gun once a month if your worried about it drying out.
