Dings!!!!

what is the best way to remove dings on your doors?
does that ding remover i see on tv actually work?

anyone tried removing them on a p5 yet?

I don't know but the 5 sure does ding easily. In 6 mos I got two on the passenger side and one on the driver side. :(

none here
i park away from everyone like 2 miles away.
people look at me like im crazy.
anyway i dont think they work that well but maybe you would have some better luck.

I'm with perfworks on this one. I park in BFE. I roam the parking lots and find the best spot I can, even if it means dropping off guests before parking.

1. park with a curb on the passenger side (or both sides)
2. don't park under trees (birds)
3. pay attention to slopes, if present
a. having the front of cars around you angled up is good, gravity keeps doors from swinging as much.
b. sideways slopes can be good if gravity keeps driver door from swinging into you. flip side of that is that a passenger door may accelerate into you.

Park where other people don't and walk. Most Americans are overweight anyway. Walking is good for you. ;-)

:( I'm gonna miss the plastic doors on my Camaro. Completely ding proof. I'm always careful where I park, but someone will get me sooner or later.

(rofl)
You forgot 3c!...Never park at the bottom of a slope. Loose shopping carts become run-away freight trains.

it doesnt matter what you do, s*** is gonna happen................just like grass is green, and the sky is blue, our p5s will all eventually get ****** up.

I'm with protejay5 on this, but I also agree with perfworks. I try to find a parking space far from people. Last weekend while I was washing my car I notice that it had a bumper rub. I was so f*cking heated, and I couldn't figure out where or when it happen. No matter how hard we try to keep our Protege5's mint there's some asshole's out there who could care less about their cars !!

i used to be a cashier for a grocery store, so sometimes i had to push carts, and god damn it is scary seeing something that happen, i rember one time, the parking lot was practally empty, and i saw a nice red NSX all by its self, and of all the places for this cart to roll... it flew right into the front of the nsx, i tryed to run and save it, but it was too late. :(

snowserpent, they don't car about your car either! all my friends think i'm nuts about parking my car away from everyone else. i don't care what they think!
