OK..here it is. As some of you know the wife and I have a 2005 6i which we love and a Acura 2002 CLS which we love also. The 2002 CLS has 64 k on it and is now paid for (No Payments). I have a very strong desire to trade it in on a new Speed Six but really still enjoy the NO PAYMENT factor. I love our 6i and would really like to get back into a car with full warranty and the performance I am used to with the CLS. Thoughts? (drive2)

Oh..here is the CLS...

will those rims fit on a speed 6 if so go for it. But seriously the speed 6 is an amazing car and would definately recommend at least test driving it.

i drove the speed 6 the other day, it's an awesome. in the rain the thing just held the road and did everthing i asked it to going through the slalom course at ZZL...go for it!

Keep the car that's paid off and trade in the 6i. The acura looks sweet.

I have to agrees with Hughes on this one. Keep the 64k mint Acura and trade in a payment for a payment. You pay x amount for current 6 and 0 for Acura. Lets just say you raise the payment by $60, thats least $300 less per month than if you bought the M6SPD. That's allot of cash to me and its not like your acura will fall apart any time soon.

Take into account the negative equity... The rebates that helped you buy the 6 will make it hard to get good trade-in.

I am going to the dealer one night this week to see what works best...If I can swing it, for the price I want...I may just get teh speed.

if you're serious about it, sell your CLS private party (to me j/k) and then get the speed 6.. you'll get nailed on the trade otherwise.

This post FTW!

Nothing better than no car payment. The flipside of this is that by stacking your chips in the meantime you may be able to save enough to buy a Mazdaspeed6 cash in the future, that is if you would still want one in the future.(shrug)
