Dash Camera

Wanted to install Dash Camera. It has a long enough wire going to the lighter charger. I really wanna instal it cleanly, no wires showing up all over the cabin. Any ideas? Pics gotten from my father's Volvo CX 60

If you have not picked a camera consider this small one that will fit behind the mirror so as not to be seen and/or a target for theft.
You may not want others to know you have it if you did something wrong...

I used this to mount it to the mirror post so that from the dirvers seat I can just see the red power on/recording led...

I'm using a mini 0805 and is really small, behind the mirror, no need for extra bulky mounts. Has it's own GPS base, that serves as a mount as well.

You could.... just remember you will need something to downstep the 12V to 5V for the dashcam.

I have picked up a 12v to 5V usb adapter from Ebay and ran it, to the fuse box.
